Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Structurand collects when you use the platform, how it is used, and who can see it. It applies to both the talent portal and the recruiter portal, including applications to internships posted by RAND Engineering and Architecture.

• Account basics: your full name and email address. Your password is stored and verified by our authentication provider — no one at Structurand can see it.
• Profile information: your headline, bio, discipline, location, years of experience, education details, skills, availability status, and links you add (LinkedIn, portfolio site).
• Documents you upload: your resume file, and portfolio project photos, drawings, and CAD files.
• Application content: cover letters and applications you submit to job postings.
• Verification details: if you request verification, the school or employer information, identification numbers, and LinkedIn profile you provide with that request.
• Messages: candidate–recruiter messages sent through the platform.
• Activity data: profile and job views, application counts, and basic usage information used to operate and improve the platform.

• display your profile and portfolio to recruiters using the platform;
• attach your resume (and optional cover letter) to applications you submit;
• process and track those applications, and update you on their status;
• verify eligibility where you ask us to;
• send you transactional emails — account verification, password reset, and application notifications;
• keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.

Recruiters on the platform can view candidate profiles and portfolios. When you apply to a posting, your resume and optional cover letter are shared with the hiring team at RAND Engineering and Architecture. Platform administrators can access account data to provide support and prevent abuse.

Our infrastructure providers (including Base44, which hosts the app, its database, and its email) process your data only as needed to run the platform. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

You can edit or remove your profile information, portfolio projects, and resume at any time from your profile. To request closure of your account, contact the platform administrator. Records of applications you have submitted may be retained as needed to operate the platform.

The platform runs on managed infrastructure with industry-standard protections, and passwords are hashed by our authentication provider. That said, no system can be made perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.

Structurand is intended for students and professionals in engineering and architecture and is not directed to anyone under 16.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version. If you continue using the platform after a change, the updated policy applies.
